Es por esto que necesitamos saber cu\u00e1les son los principales responsables de la mastitis cl\u00ednica en peque\u00f1os rumiantes, de modo que podamos actuar en consecuencia y evitar problemas graves. \u00bfEs <em>S. aureus<\/em> el \u00fanico responsable de estas mastitis?<\/strong><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>DESCRIPCI\u00d3N GENERAL<\/h2>\n<p>De todos los casos de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hipra.com\/portal\/es\/hipra\/knowledge\/bgdetail\/mastitis-in-small-ruminants\/mastitis-in-small-ruminants\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">mastitis<\/a> que ocurren durante un periodo en una explotaci\u00f3n de peque\u00f1os rumiantes, es frecuente <strong>aislar un pat\u00f3geno \u201cprincipal\u201da nivel de reba\u00f1o<\/strong>. Esta caracter\u00edstica epidemiol\u00f3gica peculiar (no compartida por vacas lecheras) se debe a dos motivos: primero, la mayor\u00eda de las <strong>bacterias son \u201ccontagiosas\u201d<\/strong> (Staphylococci, Mycoplasmas, algunos Streptococci etc.) para y\/o a trav\u00e9s de corderos (<em>Pasteurellaceae<\/em>, Staphylococci, etc.) y la producci\u00f3n est\u00e1 muy sincronizada (concomitancia de periodos de susceptibilidad).<\/p>\n<p>La frecuente existencia de un pat\u00f3geno principal es un problema clave al implementar programas de control tanto para la vacunaci\u00f3n como para el tratamiento general preventivo.<\/p>\n<p>La incidencia de la mastitis cl\u00ednica caprina y ovina es normalmente <strong>menor del 5-7\u00a0% anual<\/strong> (este porcentaje puede que est\u00e9 subestimado, ya que en muchas ocasiones no se registran las mastitis cr\u00f3nicas leves). Este valor medio puede considerarse un objetivo t\u00e9cnico a conseguir para reba\u00f1os lecheros.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\"><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20pt;\">\u201cS. aureus es la causa m\u00e1s frecuente de mastitis cl\u00ednica\u201d<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h2>PRINCIPALES PAT\u00d3GENOS DE MASTITIS CL\u00cdNICA<\/h2>\n<p>Entre los principales <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vetres.org\/articles\/vetres\/pdf\/2003\/05\/V3511.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">agentes causantes de estas IMI<\/a> (infecciones intramamarias) cl\u00ednicas espor\u00e1dicas, <em>Staphylococcus aureus<\/em> es el m\u00e1s frecuente.
