Adem\u00e1s, en adultos suele ser <strong>cr\u00f3nico<\/strong>, lo cual incrementa las p\u00e9rdidas.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\"><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20pt;\">Al menos el 30% de los animales que llegan al matadero presentan lesiones pulmonares, y la cifra sube al 50% en animales adultos.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os se ha observado una <strong>reemergencia<\/strong> de la enfermedad, debido a las restricciones en el <a href=\"https:\/\/aboutsmallruminants.com\/es\/antibioticos-animales-produccion\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">uso de antibi\u00f3ticos<\/a>. Por este motivo, son cruciales las medidas de <strong>prevenci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los factores de riesgo de la enfermedad?<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Temperatura: <\/strong>sobre todo si hay grandes cambios de temperatura.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Calidad del aire<\/strong>: siempre es necesaria una buena ventilaci\u00f3n y una densidad de animales adecuada.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Estr\u00e9s:<\/strong> es crucial evitar los factores de estr\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\"><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20pt;\">Todos los factores de estr\u00e9s como la esquila, transporte, manejo, etc.\u2026 hacen que aumenten los problemas respiratorios.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfQu\u00e9 pat\u00f3genos lo causan?<\/h2>\n<p><em>Mannheimia haemolytica<\/em> es el <strong>principal pat\u00f3geno<\/strong> del complejo respiratorio ovino, aunque tambi\u00e9n se encuentran <em>Pasteurella multocida<\/em>, <em>Bibersteinia trehalosi<\/em> o <em>Mycoplasmas<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>M. haemolytica<\/em> normalmente se encuentra en las v\u00edas respiratorias altas y cuando llega al pulm\u00f3n produce una Leucotoxina, que es la causante de las <strong>lesiones<\/strong> y la <strong>patolog\u00eda<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"pullquote align-center\"><p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 20pt;\">La leucotoxina es el principal factor patog\u00e9nico del complejo respiratorio.<\/span><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>\u00bfCu\u00e1l es la mejor manera de controlar el problema?<\/h2>\n<p>Hay dos puntos fundamentales para <strong>controlar y prevenir<\/strong> el complejo respiratorio ovino:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Reducir los <strong>factores predisponentes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Plan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hipra.com\/portal\/es\/hipra\/animalhealth\/products\/detail\/pasterbact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">vacunal<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0adaptado a la explotaci\u00f3n. \u00a0Las vacunas m\u00e1s eficaces son las que protegen contra la<strong> leucotoxina<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Los problemas respiratorios afectan a todas las explotaciones de peque\u00f1os rumiantes, provocando graves consecuencias.
