Chaque \u00e9tape de la vie des animaux pose des probl\u00e8mes sp\u00e9cifiques auxquels nous devons faire face \u00e0 l’aide de mesures sp\u00e9cifiques. Dans cet article, nous nous concentrerons sur les d\u00e9fis de sant\u00e9 au cours des premiers jours de vie des agneaux et des chevreaux. Quelle serait la meilleure fa\u00e7on de les g\u00e9rer ?

Quel est le premier probl\u00e8me qui appara\u00eet ?<\/h2>\n

L\u2019allaitement est une \u00e9tape critique pour les agneaux et les chevreaux. Le premier probl\u00e8me qui appara\u00eet g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement est le syndrome diarrh\u00e9ique<\/strong>, une maladie multifactorielle \u00e0 laquelle participent plusieurs agents pathog\u00e8nes.<\/p>\n

Les principaux agents infectieux sont\u00a0: E. coli, C. perfringens<\/a><\/em>, les coronavirus et rotavirus, ainsi que les parasites.<\/p>\n

Comment pouvons-nous l’\u00e9viter ?<\/h2>\n

Tout d\u2019abord, il faut maintenir un bon niveau d\u2019hygi\u00e8ne et de d\u00e9sinfection<\/strong> dans les enclos. Une bonne planification des cages de mise bas<\/a>\u00a0est \u00e9galement importante, car disposer de cages de mise bas courtes et s\u00e9par\u00e9es facilitera la gestion.<\/p>\n

Il convient de noter que pour la survie des agneaux et des chevreaux, il est n\u00e9cessaire d’assurer une temp\u00e9rature ad\u00e9quate<\/strong> pour \u00e9viter l’hypothermie et une bonne hydratation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Au cours des premi\u00e8res semaines de vie, le colostrum<\/a>\u00a0jouera un r\u00f4le crucial. Pour cette raison, les protocoles de vaccination pr\u00e9partum sont toujours recommand\u00e9s, comme c’est le cas avec les vaccins clostridiens<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Les vaccins clostridiens ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 une bonne immunit\u00e9 passive<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Pour prot\u00e9ger correctement les animaux, nous devrons garantir un colostrum correct. Le moment d’absorption optimale<\/strong> des immunoglobulines se situe avant les 12 premi\u00e8res heures de vie, et la quantit\u00e9 que nous donnons est \u00e9galement tr\u00e8s importante.<\/p>\n

Quel autre probl\u00e8me pouvons-nous souligner ?<\/h2>\n

Dans les premiers jours de vie, on rencontre fr\u00e9quemment une autre complication : l’ecthyma contagieux<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Il provoque des l\u00e9sions labiales<\/strong> douloureuses chez les agneaux et les chevreaux, ce qui rend leur alimentation difficile et peut entra\u00eener des pertes. Une fois apparue, il est tr\u00e8s difficile \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler, car la transmission dans le troupeau est tr\u00e8s rapide, par contact direct ou par vecteurs passifs.<\/p>\n

Pour pr\u00e9venir l\u2019ecthyma, il faut \u00e9liminer le facteur de stress et optimiser l\u2019hygi\u00e8ne<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

L’ecthyma <\/strong>peut \u00eatre consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme opportuniste, puisque les \u00e9pid\u00e9mies sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement d\u00e9clench\u00e9es lorsqu’il existe un facteur de stress<\/strong> li\u00e9 \u00e0 la gestion, \u00e0 l’environnement ou \u00e0 d’autres maladies.<\/p>\n

Conclusions<\/h2>\n

– Prendre soin des agneaux et des chevreaux pendant les premiers jours de vie pr\u00e9sente des d\u00e9fis<\/strong> importants.<\/p>\n

– Pour optimiser leur sant\u00e9 et assurer leur survie, il est n\u00e9cessaire de mettre en \u0153uvre les mesures de contr\u00f4le et de pr\u00e9vention<\/a>\u00a0les plus appropri\u00e9es.<\/p>\n

En pr\u00e9venant et en contr\u00f4lant les pathologies dans les premiers jours de vie, nous pouvons r\u00e9duire l’utilisation d’antibiotiques<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
